Stuff Ive made in Minecraft

Todays lesson

Today i had a go at building 8bit characters in minecraft.

I made a Avatar of Mr. T and Megaman.

I Also measured the amount of blocks you can stack in Minecraft, (32) so i can make sure i can fit everything in when i come to do the final Video.

This post is to show some things that can be done in Minecraft,

I Started with this photo and put it into Illustrator and added a grid to draw in lines that look 8Bit.

Here is the image with the 8Bit mask over the top, i then took this image and coped it into Minecraft by building it from blocks.

24 hours check point

At the 24 hour mark of our project, i have so far been exploring both my ideas using Mincraft to create figures and building and i have also been drawing some 2d animation.

For far it has been going well. i have converted full quality pictures into 8 bit the created it in Minecraft.

next i plan to do an in-depth look at other people who have responded to Globalization though media, hopefully as related to what i am doing as i can.
